During my time in Lisbon, I was immersed in the city's blend of tradition and modernity. The charming, hilly streets of the Portuguese capital led me to breathtaking viewpoints in this hilly city. Lisbon's vibrant neighbourhoods, like Bairro Alto and Alfama, were full of life and offered an eclectic mix of historic architecture, lively markets, and delicious local cuisine. Exploring the historic Belém district was a highlight, especially enjoying the famous pastéis de nata, which were a delight.
Porto's distinct charm made my time there truly memorable. The city's iconic orange rooftops and picturesque Douro River set the scene for a magical experience. Walking along the Ribeira, I tasted the unique flavours of the city, from the rich port wine to the eclectic francesinha sandwich. Climbing the Torre dos Clérigos for a panoramic view of Porto was a must-do, offering a stunning perspective of the city's beauty. Additionally, catching a sunset at Jardin do Morros was a serene way to reflect on my adventures in this enchanting city.
If you haven't been to Portugal yet, I recommend you put it neer the top of your list. It's definitely one of my favourite countries in the world and I'm sure you'll be charmed by it too!
