I'm a solo traveller and digital nomad, and I'm here to share my adventures with you. Join me on a journey around the world as I explore different cultures and destinations. As I explore, I'll be providing you with advice on travelling solo and working remotely as well as my personal takes on the places I visit.
So grab your bags and your laptop and let’s catch that flight!
I'm fortunate to run two remote businesses that fuel my creativity and allow me to live a fully location-independent lifestyle.
The first one is a digital design studio called Supercharged, which I founded in 2021. Supercharged is what first gave me the freedom and privilege of being a digital nomad. My second venture is Nomad Wildheart, an apparel brand for travellers that was founded in early 2025. They're both now extensions of how I live and what I believe in.
I was born in India and immigrated to Canada over a decade ago. When I’m not travelling, I split my time between Toronto 🇨🇦 in the summer and New Delhi 🇮🇳 in the winter. I feel deeply connected to both countries. They’re home in different ways, and I love them both for what they offer me.
My love for travel has always been a part of my life, mainly because of my parents who are also travel fanatics like me. When I was kid, we'd take international trips every summer and those were some of the best memories I have.
After moving to Canada and starting full-time work, it was immediately clear to me that the annual 3 weeks of vacation wasn't cutting it. Three weeks was not enough for me to visit my family & friends in India as well as scratch my constant itch to explore the world.
That's when I came across the concept of a "digital nomad". I was instantly hooked. From that moment, I made it my mission to build a remote career that would let me travel freely, grow professionally, and stay more connected with my family.
As a solo traveller with years of experience, I had so much I wanted to share: stories, insights, mistakes, and lessons that I knew could help others on their journey.
Instagram is great, and I post there often on @nivtravels, but its fast-paced, short-form nature and ever-changing algorithm didn’t give me the space to express myself the way I wanted to. I craved a platform where I could dive deeper, tell fuller stories, and create content with real longevity. Starting a blog felt like the natural next step. I wanted to build something lasting, where my experiences could live beyond a single scroll.
I've had so many beautiful, challenging, and transformative moments on the road. If I can inspire even one person to take their first solo trip, explore a place I’ve fallen in love with, or embrace the digital nomad life, I know I’ve created something meaningful.
There are two philosophies I live by, and I carry them with me wherever I go:
Tough one. It's a tie between Portugal 🇵🇹 and Thailand 🇹🇭.
🇨🇴 Colombia!
Easy! Mexico 🇲🇽, India 🇮🇳, and Thailand 🇹🇭. But let me just say... Georgia 🇬🇪 has incredibly underrated food!
Less than 4 hours, window. More than 4 hours, aisle.
Room Service by Bryan Adams. (I've actually got a full travel playlist if you're curious!)
Sunset. I'm not a morning person.
A book, tripod, travel-sized cologne, sunglasses, and a Snickers.
